Édition 2021

The 2021 edition was a completely virtual festival with activities for all tastes.

A total of 153 tickets were purchased for all programming, including paid shows and free activities. The virtual shows featuring performances by Andrina Turenne, Corneille, Florent Vollant, Post Script, Hay Babies, and Sarahmée were viewed 91 times.

The free activities were available until July 16 to allow families an opportunity to discover the events at the their own pace according to their schedules. More than 60 people took part in these activities highlighting the projects of Fransaskois organizations and artists from across the province.

CCF President Anne Brochu Lambert believes the virtual edition has engaged the participants, despite the distance.

Putting on a festival online is a great challenge, and in the context of this summer, we are all pioneers, both spectators and organizations! The quality of the performances and the variety of programming were there, and I am very pleased the community was able to take it all in.
– Anne Brochu Lambert

Emerging Youth

SK Emerging Youth Talent Program with Etienne Fletcher

Alluzion Rose

Alluzion rose

Alluzion Rose is a pop/alternative band of students from the École Monseigneur de Laval PSQV. The members, Marissa Gregory, Juan Tonita-Charriez, Zipporah Picard, Sara Robert, and Liam Campagne, have participated in multiple concerts including the Rendez-vous de la Fransaskoisie, a few 5 à 7, the Francofièvre and at three French schools in Regina for a Christmas tour. Previously known as 5 Étoiles, Alluzion Rose is currently working on writing their own songs.

Lunch Krew

10th July Concert

Post Script

Post Script

Alberta

Charming, alluring and authentic, their syncopathy is nothing short of palpable. So intense it seems almost tangible, the atmosphere between Steph Blais and Paul Cournoyer creates the perfect storm for unbridled magnetism whether live or recorded. Somewhere between the forlorn warble of Emmylou Harris and the ethereal chemistry of Broken Social Scene, Post Script has found a distinct niche in the Canadian music landscape.

Hay Babies

Hay Babies

Acadia

We know the Hay Babies as three young authentic, funny and chill Acadians, but above all, they’re great friends who have trouble taking themselves seriously. Their influences clash, intertwine and complement each other. There’s folk, comedy, rock, fashion, pizza rolls…

Sarahmée

Sarahmée

Quebec

While Sarahmée’s music inspires dancing and enlivens parties, it doesn’t lose its depth encouraging self-confidence in an often harsh world. Sensitive and empathetic, Sarahmée looks to herself and to the world with a clear, feminist and antiracist vision.
