The Winston Band is a unique Montreal band that fuses rock with zydeco, Cajun and French-Canadian influences. Inspired by different music from French-speaking America, the quintet mixes cultures and eras seamlessly to create a doubly “original” sound, one that is both focused on its chosen roots and on a national stage where it stands out. The band’s repertoire includes many compositions as well as traditional pieces from Louisiana, Quebec and elsewhere. The powerful sound of the diatonic accordion, supported by a typical formation of “new zydeco,” electrifies the audience and ensures a warm and festive atmosphere perfect for dancing.
